FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I start using Noteable?

Just open noteable.easysong.com in your web browser — there's nothing to download or install. Your first 25 sessions are free with no account, and you can sign in any time to save your progress.

Which browsers and devices work?

Noteable runs in any modern browser — the latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari — on Windows, Mac, Chromebook and Linux. It works on tablets and phones too; a larger screen just gives the on-screen piano and fret board more room. For MIDI, use Chrome or Edge.

How do I get Noteable Professional?

Professional is included free with an Easy Song VIP or All Access membership, and stays unlocked for as long as your membership is active. View membership options →

I signed in but don't see Professional features.

Professional unlocks with an active Easy Song VIP or All Access membership. Make sure you're signed in with the same account that holds your membership, and that the membership is currently active. Refreshing the page after signing in usually does it.

Did my progress save?

Trial play (without an account) isn't saved. Once you create a free Easy Song account and sign in, your profiles, stats and progress are saved to your account and sync across every device you sign in on.

Can I use a MIDI keyboard or controller?

Yes — in a browser that supports Web MIDI, which today means Chrome or Edge. Connect your controller, open Noteable, and allow the MIDI permission prompt when it appears. Then pick a play mode that accepts MIDI and play along.

I don't hear any sound.

Browsers wait for you to interact with the page before playing audio, so click or tap once to get started. Then check that your device isn't muted and the volume is up.

Will Noteable help me?

Noteable is designed for musicians at every skill level, with treble, bass, alto and tenor clef practice. It's powerful for advanced players and friendly for beginners — and it's free to try, so there's no risk in finding out.

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes

Noteable won't load, or something looks off

Refresh the page (Ctrl+R, or Cmd+R on a Mac) and make sure your browser is up to date. If it persists, try a private/incognito window or a different browser.

I can't sign in, or Professional is missing

Sign in with the same Easy Song account that holds your VIP or All Access membership, and make sure the membership is active. Refreshing the page after signing in usually brings Professional features in.

My MIDI keyboard isn't detected

Use Chrome or Edge, connect the device, reload the page, and allow the MIDI permission prompt. Reconnecting the controller and refreshing usually does it.
